Florence Knoll Model 2551 Steel Framed Sofa *SOLD*
Available now is this circa 1950's stunning Florence Knoll Model 2551 sofa.
Features and exposed, solid steel frame in a brushed finish. No how core steel tubing here. This sucker is rock solid and very heavy.
The off-white naugahyde upholstery is all original and shows very well. Honestly we don't know how a sofa that's 50+ years old has not seen more wear and tear over the years. Blind tufted cushions are upholstered directly to the frame so you never have to worry about the sofa looking sloppy or disheveled.
As you can see the cushions are still perfectly formed with no lumps, sags, or stretches.
Retains it's original "Knoll Associates" label under the sofa.
Overall this couch shows wonderfully and is in very good vintage condition, showing light wear to the naugahyde commensurate with age and use like small marks, discolorations, or scuffs in some spots and light wear to the frame. Check out the pics as we try to take pictures from every angle.
