Pair of Early IB Kofod Larsen Lounge Chairs
A very special pare of early IB Kofod Larsen chairs that were discontinued shortly after production (see last photo).
Larse is one of the most iconic Danish designers of the mid century era. Sculptural, wide, curved arms. Striking lines. Angled rear legs.
NO visible screws like most cheap mid century chairs show.
Check out the dramatic traingular shape of the back spindles.
The chair has brand new Danish Pirelli upholstery straps to ensure many decades of future use.
The supple, oatmeal colored, Knoll Boucle upholstery is brand new and in mint condition.
The chairs itself is in phenomenal structural condition with absolutely no creeks, wobbles, or rocking.
As to be expected with any 60 year old piece of furniture, there are minor age-appropriate markings like small knicks. Nothing that would warrant a refinishing.
